The Group Scouters' Meeting is chaired by the Group Scout Leader and is held as frequently as necessary and at least once every three months. Its purpose is to: (a) review the progress and effectiveness of the programme, training and activities of all the Sectional Units of the Group; (b) review the well-being and development of the Youth Members in the Group; (c) plan and coordinate youth programme, training and activities in the Group; (d) encourage and support Leaders' training and development; (e) plan, coordinate with, and support District, Regional and Association events; (f) project financial requirements of the training programmes and activities in the Group; (g) assume the responsibility as detailed in 2.10.5 and 2.10.6 when the Scout Group does not have a Group Scout Council. |

Membership of the Group Scouters' Meeting All leaders holding Warrants/Provisional Warrants in the Group, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Venture Scout Unit, and the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Rover Crew are Members of the Meeting. Instructors may attend Group Scouters' meeting as observers. |
