Scout Association of Hong Kong (“SAHK”) is committed to ensure that all personal data (including all personal data provided through any websites under SAHK, email communications and activities) submitted by the users of this website (“users”) shall be handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Users should read this Privacy Policy from time to time to ensure that they understand how this website will handle their personal data provided in the course of their full enjoyment of the website and the services provided. By using this website, users are deemed to have accepted their responsibility set out herein and this policy. SAHK is entitled to amend this policy from time to time without prior notice. Users who continue to use this website despite such amendments shall be taken to have accepted such amendments.

  1. SAHK collects and stores users' personal data mainly in the following circumstances:
    • Participation in surveys and games at the website on the part of users;
    • Submission of works (e.g. essays, photographs and other Scouting information) or making comments by users;
    • Enquiries made by users about information and services of SAHK;
    • Enrollment by users of activities organized by SAHK.
