Assistant Communications and Public Affairs Manager

Main Duties
- Plan and develop branding and marketing strategy for Scouting;
- Build and maintain good relationship with media and other stakeholders;
- Monitor website and other social media platforms of the Association;
- Manage the Association’s photo archive;
- Handle and respond to enquiries and complaints from the media and public effectively;
- Support and coordinate the production of the Association’s communication materials such as press releases, line-to-take, annual reports, newsletters, presentation and promotional materials;
- Support crisis and issues management;
- Support scouting activities and projects;
- Participate in and provide administrative support to committees and related meetings.
Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related disciplines;
- A minimum of five years of relevant experiences, preferably from sizable organisations;
- Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Well-organised and attentive to details;
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
