For the sake of health safety, Scout members are still encouraged to conduct meetings, activities and training through online and other virtual means.
Having regard to the stabilizing pandemic situation, Scout activities will be resumed in phases.
Currently, face-to-face adult scout training courses and workshops organized by Branches, Regions and Leadership Training Institute satisfying specific criteria and with approval of the Association have been resumed. Other face-to-face activities and training of adult members, and face-to-face activities, training and Group meetings of youth members continue to be suspended.
In conducting the approved scout training courses / workshops, and for necessary face-to-face adult members’ meetings or preparatory work and support for online training and activities, or some unavoidable face-to-face Scout administrative work such as certifying badge certificates / record book of youth members or dealing with raffle tickets matters by leaders, please observe the government precautionary measures and social distancing requirements so as to minimize risk of infection.
If there is no major reversion of the pandemic situation, the Association will consider to resume face-to-face activities in phases in the later-half of March, including activities and training of adult members, as well as activities, training and meetings of Venture and Rover Scout Sections. Scout units concerned may in this regard get themselves prepared for the said resumption.
